Recipe: PB Banana Chocolate

After sampling the delicious chocolate mug recipe we posted a couple days ago, our taste buds craved more deliciousness.

We hunted down a number of online chocolate recipes and tried a handful (Sometimes working at Haydee HQ can be a real treat). Today we'd like to share with you our favorite: Peanut Butter Banana Dark Chocolate Smoothie.

This delicious creamy smoothie is not only an absolute thrill for your taste buds, it's easier than pie to make. An added bonus is some extra protein from the PB!

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium banana, cut into bite-size pieces (frozen or at room temperature)
  • 2 tablespoons good-quality chocolate syrup.
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup nonfat milk
  • Crushed ice

Directions:

Combine the banana, chocolate syrup, peanut butter, milk and a handful of crushed ice in a blender. Blend for about 2 minutes, until the ice is well incorporated. Add ice as necessary for a thicker consistency.

We recommend throwing in a cocktail glass with two Good Vs. Evil Temptation truffles as garnishes. Delicious!
